Job summary

OutSystems is seeking a Senior AI Quality Engineer to lead quality across our AI-powered product stack. You will define AI-first test strategy, integrate AI tooling, and shape the SDLC with high-velocity, AI-augmented delivery.

Responsibilities include designing AI-based test coverage, guiding automated frameworks with Claude Code, Cursor, Gemini, and leading defect analysis and intelligent CI/CD gates. 5+ years in QE or software development preferred.

Qualifications

• Advanced experience using AI coding assistants (Claude Code, Cursor) and LLMs (Gemini, GPT-4) to accelerate the SDLC.
• Proven track record of managing product delivery in an Agile environment with a focus on CI/CD and automated quality gates.
• Proficiency in C#, Python or JavaScript and experience with modern testing frameworks (e.g., Playwright, PyTest).
• Ability to drive initiatives from ideation to completion with minimal oversight, requiring only strategic alignment with leadership.

Responsibilities

• AI-First Test Strategy & Planning: Define end-to-end test strategy for major AI product areas and align with engineering goals.
• AI-Augmented Automation: Lead automation efforts and support adoption of Cursor and Claude Code to refactor frameworks and generate synthetic data.
• Advanced Test Design: Design coverage for AI features, including prompt injection tests and model hallucination checks; mentor on Gemini use cases.
• Defect Management & Root Cause Analysis: Lead triage, analyze trends in model behavior and system performance for systemic improvements.
• Intelligent CI/CD Quality Gates: Define and enforce smart gates, ensuring automated suites catch regressions in code and model output.
