WorkMotion is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer (AI-Focused) to lead automated testing across web, API, and backend services in a remote, international setup. You will design robust test suites and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable quality.

Ideal candidates bring 6+ years in QA automation, strong JS/TS and Python skills, experience with Cypress/Playwright, and familiarity with AI-assisted testing tools.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in QA automation.
• Strong programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript and Python.
• Experience with test automation frameworks like Cypress or Playwright.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test cases for web, API, and backend services.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to define acceptance criteria and ensure high-quality releases.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and monitor test execution results.
• Perform code reviews, mentor junior QA engineers, and promote best practices for test automation.
• Investigate and report bugs with detailed reproduction steps and logs.
• Ensure test data, environments, and tools are maintained and aligned with team needs.
• Proactively contribute to quality culture and improve testing processes.
• Utilize AI-powered development and testing tools to accelerate QA processes.
• Apply AI-assisted test generation, debugging, and defect analysis techniques.
• Evaluate and implement AI-driven QA solutions for automation optimization.
• Use GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, or similar AI platforms effectively in daily workflows.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on AI-assisted SDLC initiatives.
