Job summary

Wolters Kluwer, through InnovateHub, seeks a Senior Product Software Engineer - AI to co-design human-centric AI features for the Tax and Accounting portfolio. You’ll work with product managers, UX designers, and researchers in fast feedback cycles to deliver real value for accounting professionals.

You will design AI capabilities using Python, participate in Agile/XP practices, and contribute to secure, scalable solutions across products.

Qualifications

• 3+ years building software applications (Python, TS).
• 1+ years hands-on with LLMs or AI systems (NLP).
• Full-stack development experience.
• Experience with Agile/XP practices including TDD/BDD and pair programming.
• Experience with AI coding tools and GenAI utilities.
• 3+ years leading complex technical projects.
• Experience in startup-like environments or innovation teams.
• Comfort in collaborative Agile environments with weekly sprints.
• Knowledge of AI/ML frameworks: LangChain, Hugging Face, OpenAI APIs.
• Experience with vector databases and embeddings.
• Understanding prompt engineering and AI optimization.
• Effective communication of technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Co-design AI solutions with customers focused on real problems.
• Work across portfolio, enabling other teams with AI solutions.
• Design and implement AI features using Python and modern frameworks.
• Build document processing, automated workflows, AI-powered analytics.
