Job summary

Wolters Kluwer seeks a Director of Product Software Engineering - AI to define the strategy, build scalable software, and deliver AI-powered solutions that drive business value. You will lead senior engineers, collaborate with Product and Architecture, and shape enterprise-wide engineering practices.

You will champion AI-enabled development, partner with product management, and guide cloud-native architectures. A customer-centric, data-driven approach will guide decisions and investments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in CS/engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of software engineering with progressive leadership responsibilities.
• 5+ years leading engineering managers and multiple teams.
• Experience delivering cloud-native software on Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Strong knowledge of modern software architecture, APIs, DevOps, CI/CD, automation, and Agile.
• Experience leading AI-enabled product teams and initiatives.
• Familiarity with LLMs, RAG, agentic workflows, and AI governance.
• Experience using AI development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot).
• Customer-centric product development and co-design experience.
• Experience driving engineering strategy in a matrixed enterprise.
• Demonstrated success in building and scaling engineering organizations.
• Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the engineering vision, strategy, and roadmap for Firm Intelligence products and platforms.
• Lead multiple engineering teams and managers, aligning with business objectives and product strategy.
• Drive organizational transformation with modern engineering, cloud, automation, and AI capabilities.
• Establish engineering standards, development frameworks, and best practices to improve quality, speed, and scalability.
