Job summary

Wolters Kluwer seeks a Director of Product Software Engineering - AI to shape engineering strategy and deliver AI-powered software across platforms. You will lead several engineering teams, mentor leaders, and partner with Product, Architecture, and business stakeholders to drive measurable customer value.

You will foster a culture of experimentation, implement modern cloud and AI practices, and manage budgets and priorities to support strategic growth across the Firm Intelligence portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field is required.
• 10+ years software engineering with progressive leadership.
• 5+ years leading engineering managers and multiple teams.
• Experience delivering cloud-native software on Azure/AWS/GCP.
• Strong knowledge of APIs, DevOps, CI/CD, automation, and Agile delivery.
• Experience leading AI-enabled product teams and familiarity with LLMs, RAG, and AI governance.
• Experience using AI development tools and customer-centric product development.

Responsibilities

• Define engineering vision, strategy, and roadmap for Firm Intelligence products and platforms.
• Lead multiple engineering teams and managers to align with product strategy.
• Drive organizational transformation with modern engineering, cloud, automation, and AI capabilities.
• Set standards, frameworks, and best practices to improve quality, speed, and scalability.
• Champion AI-enabled software development and identify opportunities for value in collaboration with Product Management.
• Guide architectural decisions for cloud-native apps, APIs, and AI-powered solutions.
• Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to translate challenges into innovative tech outcomes.
