Job summary

VetsEZ, through its EZLabs AI division, seeks a Senior Applied AI Product Engineer for a fully remote role supporting a federal healthcare modernization project. You will build intelligent healthcare products using Claude Code, collaborating with product managers, designers, engineers, and clinical stakeholders from anywhere in the continental US.

The role emphasizes full-stack development, AI integrations, and a strong DevOps/MLOps mindset to ensure secure, scalable, and high-quality software

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with 5+ years of software/product engineering experience.
• Proficiency using Claude Code to develop, test, and deliver software products.
• Experience with Python, TypeScript/JavaScript and API development.
• Hands-on experience integrating LLMs via APIs, prompts, or RAG systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement AI-powered features for healthcare products.
• Use Claude Code to build, test, and maintain full-stack software solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote Agile environment.
• Develop APIs, backend services, and automation pipelines for AI capabilities.
• Apply DevOps and MLOps practices to testing, deployment, and monitoring.
