Job summary

Develop Health is seeking a Senior Product Engineer to build AI-powered healthcare tools. You will take ideas from conversations with users to production features, collaborating with product, AI, and operations teams, and delivering impact across the stack.

You will own AI-powered workflows that read clinical notes, process insurance rules, and move requests toward decisions inside existing prescriber tools. Hybrid role with three onsite days in the Bay Area.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of building and shipping production software.
• Strong at architecting systems and making technical decisions across the full stack.
• Bonus if you love the frontend.
• Able to understand user needs and manage scope.
• Curious about healthcare rules and systems.
• Own your work through rollout and verification.

Responsibilities

• Build AI that reads clinical notes and navigates insurance rules inside prescribers' tools.
• Design state machines coordinating workflows among agents, operations, prescribers, and insurers.
• Own the system ensuring requests reach the insurer despite incomplete data.
• Develop fast, AI-enabled development with automated QA and safeguards.
