Job summary

HealthLeap AI seeks a product manager in San Francisco to take new healthcare AI products from concept to customer-ready solutions. You’ll lead cross-functional teams, translate clinician needs into clear requirements, and drive delivery across engineering and customer success.

You will build prototypes with AI coding tools, work with data feeds and APIs, and ensure alignment between customers and technical teams as products scale to real-world use.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in product management, including taking a product from 0 to 1 and into users’ hands.
• Strong organization and project management across teams.
• Clear communication with customers and engineers, in writing and conversation.
• Hands-on experience with technical products, including SQL and API data flows.
• Ability to discuss architecture, constraints, and tradeoffs with engineers.
• Experience building prototypes with AI coding tools.

Responsibilities

• Speak with clinicians to understand workflows and take new products from 0 to 1.
• Shape and deliver feature expansions for existing customers and learn from usage.
• Coordinate changes such as data feed specs or API integrations across hospital teams and engineering.
• Build working prototypes with AI coding tools for early testing.
• Investigate product questions by writing SQL, inspecting API requests and responses, and tracing data flows.
• Write requirements covering system behavior and verification, discussing tradeoffs with engineers.
• Communicate progress, risks, and changed expectations proactively.
