Pine Park Health is hiring a Senior Software Engineer in the Bay Area to blend product thinking with engineering. You will own cross-functional problems, shadow clinical teams, and design scalable software to support house-call primary care for seniors.

You will work in an AI-native environment, tackle architectural decisions, and mentor peers while delivering production-grade code that scales with medical workflows and billing considerations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• Deep full-stack fluency with modern web technologies (React, Remix, Node, TypeScript, Postgres, Prisma).
• Built a personal AI development workflow with tooling and prompts.
• Owns problems end-to-end: problem scope, work management, coding, instrumentation, and closure.

Responsibilities

• Own a key business problem and drive it from problem statement to solution.
• Shadow and interview doctors, nurses, medical staff, and patients to understand bottlenecks.
• Design solutions involving operations, workflows, design, and engineering.
• Collaborate with teammates to cover gaps in experience (product, research, design, engineering).
• Review code to ensure quality and scale, mentoring less experienced teammates.
• Tackle problems like scheduling with clinician drive time, fax handling, triage agents, and AI-assisted workflows.
