Job summary

OutSystems in the San Francisco Bay Area is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, implement, and deliver major features for the Solutions Team. You will own end-to-end technical decisions, write high-quality code, conduct reviews, and mentor junior engineers as they grow.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• At least 1 year building production-grade AI agents and complex intelligent systems.
• Strong knowledge of LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, fine-tuning, and grounding techniques.
• Ability to design scalable architectures and enforce security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and evolve Solutions agents, workflows, services, components, and apps delivering customer value.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and engineers to balance functionality, usability, security, and scalability.
• Develop and test code in short cycles with a high degree of automation.
• Conduct code reviews for features and systems, ensuring quality and security standards.
• Identify and address technical debt; propose refactoring for maintainability and performance.
• Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and technical discussions.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and improve the Solutions ecosystem.
