Job summary

Ford Motor Company in Dearborn seeks an experienced program leader to own the AI governance portfolio. You will build dashboards, define KPIs with bet teams, and drive consistent reporting across multi-workstream initiatives.

You will coordinate executive-ready materials for the CEO, Board, and ELT, track value with Finance, and ensure adoption and governance standards drive measurable outcomes. Hybrid role with onsite requirements in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 7+ years experience in program management, PMO, or transformation roles in a large organization.
• Direct experience leading technology, digital, or AI-driven transformation programs from plan through delivery.
• Experience tracking value realization with Finance, including defending or pushing back on reported value.
• Hands-on experience running an operating cadence - recurring reviews, status reporting, and executive materials - for a multi-workstream portfolio.
• Experience applying stage-gate or governance criteria across multiple programs.
• Experience aligning cross-functional stakeholders, including Finance, HR, Legal, and technical teams, on shared decisions.
• Experience spotting at-risk programs early and building recovery plans with program owners.
• Strong written communication: concise, executive-ready.
• Hands-on experience building automated dashboards and connecting them to source systems (Power BI or similar, SharePoint, Jira).

Responsibilities

• Build and run the AI Governance Dashboard: define KPIs, set data feeds, and ensure status/value are up-to-date.
• Close gaps when teams track things differently and enforce reporting standards.
• Own the weekly portfolio activity report with DRIs and milestone timelines.
• Apply governance criteria across AI Bets and improve where needed.
• Own the AI Portfolio review calendar and produce CEO/Board materials.
• Track value realization with Finance and validate numbers.
• Measure adoption and outcomes across bets, not just milestones.
• Manage cross-bet dependencies and escalate where needed with a fact base.
• Flag at-risk bets early and develop recovery plans with owners.
• Coordinate program leads and may mentor a small team of analysts.
