Job summary

athenahealth, based in Boston, MA, seeks a Senior Manager of Product Management, CoreAI, to lead strategy and execution for the AI/ML platform that powers athenahealth’s healthcare technology products. You’ll own AI platform roadmap development, LLM/MLOps, and collaborate across engineering, finance, product, and infrastructure teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in product management, technical product management, platform product management, MLOps, developer platforms, or a related technical leadership field.
• Experience working with software engineering, data science, ML engineering, cloud infrastructure, or platform engineering teams.
• Experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
• Knowledge of AI and ML product development, including MLOps, LLMs, model evaluation, capacity planning, cloud infra, and observability.

Responsibilities

• Lead product management for MLOps and shared AI platform capabilities, including strategy, roadmap, capacity planning, prioritization, and alignment.
• Forecast, secure, and manage LLM/ML and cloud infrastructure capacity for AI product development.
• Translate customer needs into clear product priorities for internal developers and product teams.
• Prioritize AI platform requests using customer impact, constraints, cost, risk, and business objectives.
• Align AI platform roadmaps with broader AI strategy and delivery requirements.
• Guide model evaluation, LLM lifecycle management, AI quality practices, observability, and production readiness.
