Qualifications

• 10+ years of engineering experience
• 5+ years of engineering team management experience
• 10+ years of planning, designing, developing and delivering consumer software experience
• Experience partnering with product or program management teams
• Experience managing multiple concurrent programs, projects and development teams in an Agile environment
• Experience hiring, developing and promoting engineering talent
• Experience with very large distributed systems
• Experience managing teams of 10+ engineers across multiple workstreams

Responsibilities

• Platform Vision & Strategy: Own the technical roadmap for Quick's memory, knowledge graph, and session infrastructure.
• Research-Driven Innovation: Stay current with memory systems, retrieval, and contextual reasoning; prototype improvements.
• Science Partnership: Co-develop novel algorithms with applied science for memory and retrieval.
• User-Signal Obsession: Use telemetry and signals to prioritize backlog.
• Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing engineering team with ownership culture.
• Operational Excellence: Ensure reliability, latency, and scalability; own on-call and incident response.
• New Experiences: Ship user-facing capabilities powered by the platform.
• Stakeholder Alignment: Coordinate across Quick Engineering, product, design, and science.
