Amazon is seeking a Senior Software Development Manager to lead the AI memory systems for Customer 360. You will guide multiple engineering teams, shaping strategy from raw signals to real-time retrieval, and partner across business units to deliver scalable memory solutions that power hundreds of millions of customer experiences.

The role combines leadership of science and engineering with a strong focus on performance, privacy-by-design, and impact across Alexa, Search, Prime Video, and more.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of engineering experience.
• 5+ years of engineering team management experience.
• 10+ years of planning, designing, developing and delivering consumer software experience.
• Experience partnering with product or program management teams.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent programs in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow multiple science and engineering teams that generate, store, and serve customer inferences across all Amazon businesses.
• Own the customer inference pipeline end-to-end from raw signals to real-time retrieval by AI agents and recommendations systems.
• Define and execute the technical strategy for family and household understanding and personalized recommendations.
• Drive memory quality at scale with precision/recall targets and evaluation frameworks.
• Serve as the primary technical voice for customer understanding in executive reviews.
