Job summary

isolved is hiring a Senior Enterprise AI Platform Engineer to design, build, and maintain production backend services and APIs powering agent orchestration, tool execution, and LLM integration for internal automation workflows.

You will own MCP server/client infrastructure, establish platform standards, and drive reliability and observability across AI systems while mentoring engineers and reinforcing CI/CD governance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with production backend systems at scale.
• Ability to design platform-level systems, setting standards and reusable components.
• Proficiency in Python; Node/TypeScript or C# a plus.
• REST API design experience at scale and relational databases.

Responsibilities

• Designs, builds, and maintains production-grade backend services and APIs powering agent orchestration and LLM integration.
• Architects and operates MCP server and client infrastructure with lifecycle management and standards.
• Leads integration of LLM services with robust error handling, retry logic, and cost/latency controls.
• Designs multi-agent workflows using orchestration frameworks and evaluates tradeoffs.
• Owns observability and reliability for non-deterministic AI systems with tracing and monitoring.
• Provides technical leadership, code reviews, and architectural direction across the team.
• Partners with architecture, DevOps, and security to uphold platform standards and CI/CD governance.
• Identifies platform improvements and reduces technical debt before production issues.
• Uses AI-assisted development as a core working practice and helps establish adoption norms across the team.
