Job summary

isolved is seeking a Senior Enterprise AI Platform Engineer to design and operate production backend services and LLM integrations for internal automation workflows. This role emphasizes scalable, reliable agent orchestration and platform standards across multi-agent systems.

You will mentor engineers, drive architectural decisions, and partner with DevOps and security to uphold CI/CD governance while advancing observability and cost controls.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with backend systems at scale.
• Ability to design platform-level systems, standards, and reusable components.
• Proficiency in Python; Node/TypeScript or C# a plus.
• REST API design at scale and relational database know-how.
• Hands-on experience integrating LLM APIs into production systems.

Responsibilities

• Designs, builds, and maintains production-grade backend services and APIs for agent orchestration and LLM integration.
• Architects MCP server and client infrastructure, including lifecycle management and standards.
• Leads integration of LLM services with robust error handling, retries, and cost controls.
• Designs multi-agent workflows and evaluates deterministic vs autonomous patterns.
• Owns observability and reliability across non-deterministic AI systems and costs.
• Provides technical leadership, code reviews, and architectural guidance.
