Job summary

Coforge is hiring a Senior AI Application Engineer to design and deliver AI-enabled capabilities on Azure, including agent tool surfaces, workflow orchestration, and document intelligence. You will integrate Azure AI Foundry models via API Management and build cloud-native services with Azure Container Apps.

Qualifications include 5+ years in software development, strong C#/.NET and Python skills, and hands-on Azure AI experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Strong hands-on experience with C#/.NET and familiarity with Python.
• Experience developing solutions on Azure Cloud.
• Hands-on experience with Large Language Models beyond prompting, including API integration, tool calling, and workflow orchestration.
• Experience with API-driven and distributed systems.
• Experience with CI/CD and automated testing.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong working proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Build AI-enabled capabilities, including agent tool surfaces, workflow orchestration, retrieval, and document intelligence.
• Integrate Azure AI Foundry models through API Management and implement tool and function calling.
• Contribute to the connector surface and develop cloud-native services using Azure Container Apps.
• Implement observability and tracing, including token attribution and AI usage monitoring.
• Implement auditing and traceability appropriate for regulated environments.
• Optimize AI solutions for reliability, latency, and token cost.
• Participate in design reviews and contribute to technical design decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver production-ready AI applications.
