Job summary

Jack Henry is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to bridge AI experimentation and production engineering. The role focuses on turning prototypes and platform capabilities into enterprise-ready AI solutions while partnering with cybersecurity, cloud, and governance teams.

The position requires 6+ years of software development experience, production ownership of AI systems, and hands-on cloud and Kubernetes expertise. The hybrid role includes in-office days at designated locations.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 6 years of technical software development experience.
• Production ownership of AI systems (AI agents, AI features in products, MCP servers, etc).
• Experience with a major cloud environment (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
• Experience with unit testing and end-to-end automated testing.
• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Experience with large language models (LLM) and vector databases.

Responsibilities

• Performs and leads system analysis and programming activities turning AI proofs of concept into production-ready software.
• Develops, tests and reviews applications based on business requirements and best practices.
• Collaborates with security, cloud infrastructure, and governance to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
• Leads unit tests, integration tests, and evals to ensure reliability, security, and performance of AI systems.
