Job summary

The Hartford seeks an AI Platform Engineer to build and operate AI/GenAI platforms across Google Cloud, AWS, and Azure. You will contribute to AIOps, MLOps, and LLMOps initiatives, collaborating with Enterprise Data, Data Science, and Architecture teams.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in enterprise software, strong Python and Terraform skills, and hands-on GCP experience with BigQuery, Cloud Functions, and GKE. Hybrid or remote work options are available.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a technical field.
8+ years building and shipping software/platform solutions for enterprises.
3+ years of Terraform experience.
Experience with Google Cloud Platform and BigQuery, Cloud Functions, API Gateway, GKE/Docker.
Knowledge of multiple cloud providers (AWS a plus).
Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, Agile methods, and serverless apps.

Responsibilities

Develop AI platform features for AI Ops/ML Ops and GenAI modules.
Explore and implement GenAI algorithms and cloud services across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
Architect end-to-end solutions with data engineering and Enterprise Data teams.
Mentor engineers and drive execution with minimal guidance.
Review work to align with project and business goals.
