Job summary

The Hartford is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to architect and deliver Agentic AI systems at scale, using Google ADK, LangGraph, LangChain, and MCP/ADK protocols. You will design secure, reusable AI platform capabilities in Python/Typescript and Terraform on GCP.

You will build vector stores with AlloyDB and PostgreSQL, implement tooling, and ensure governance, security, and reliability across enterprise deployments.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience implementing MCP and ADK Agentic Protocols.
• Deep understanding of agent memory and session lifecycle management.
• Experience with tooling interfaces, secure capability boundaries, and permissions enforcement.
• Familiarity with AlloyDB AI/Agentic capabilities, vector indexing, and integration with Vertex AI.
• Strong fundamentals in Python/Typescript, IaC (Terraform), and secure distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Architect and deliver Agentic AI solutions using Google ADK, LangGraph, LangChain, and Agent Engine.
• Build and extend agent harnesses, including execution loop, tool orchestration, and context assembly.
• Develop advanced LangChain/LangGraph orchestration, memory, retrievers, and governance tracing.
• Create scalable AI microservices with Python/Typescript on GCP, focusing on latency and reliability.
• Ensure security, compliance, and enterprise governance across AI platforms.
