Job summary

Capital One is seeking an AI Engineer 4 for the Gen AI Platform Services: Agentic Systems in Cambridge, MA. You will work with engineers, researchers, program managers, and product managers to create AI-powered products and scalable AI infrastructure.

You will design and optimize foundation models, inference, and agentic workflows, leveraging Open Source and SaaS AI technologies, while ensuring ethical alignment and governance. Strong cloud and system design skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s in CS/AI/EE/CE or related field with 2+ years (Master’s) or 4+ years (Bachelor’s) of AI/ML experience.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, Scala, CUDA, or Java.
• Experience deploying scalable and responsible AI solutions on cloud platforms.

Responsibilities
