Job summary

SentinelOne is seeking a Senior Staff AI Platform Engineer to build and operate the enterprise AI platform, including Gateway, Harness, and Semantic Layers. You will write production code across Python, FastAPI, and React/TypeScript, ensuring secure, observable, and scalable AI activity.

You’ll collaborate with the Enterprise AI Platform Engineering team and other stakeholders to design architecture, govern tool access, and mature plugin frameworks for Claude and Gemini Enterprise.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building production services in front of multiple consumers (API gateway, internal platform, data platform).
• Exposure to authentication/authorization, rate limiting, observability, or audit logging.
• Experience with AI/LLM platforms is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate components of SentinelOne’s AI Gateway.
• Maintain Harness layer pieces like agent orchestration and context management.
• Develop production services in Python (FastAPI) and contribute React/TypeScript surfaces.
• Instrument platform observability with metrics, tracing, and audit trails.
• Write technical documentation and participate in reviews with security in mind.
