Job summary

The Brixton Group is seeking a hands-on Senior AI Platform Engineer to build and scale a modern, AI-forward infrastructure platform in Colorado. You’ll enable autonomous engineering teams to build, deploy and own their applications without Platform becoming a bottleneck.

You’ll design self-service capabilities, automation and guardrails, and operate scalable AWS, Kubernetes and Terraform/IaC environments while owning problems across cloud, security and reliability.

Qualifications

8+ years in Platform, Cloud, Infrastructure, SRE or DevOps engineering.
Strong hands-on AWS, Kubernetes and Terraform/IaC experience.
Technical depth across 2+ infrastructure areas such as networking, security/IAM or databases.
Experience building self-service developer infrastructure or reusable Platform tooling.
Strong production engineering, troubleshooting and end-to-end ownership.

Responsibilities

Build self-service infrastructure, golden paths and reusable Platform capabilities
Enable autonomous application teams through automation and built-in guardrails
Design and operate scalable AWS, Kubernetes and Terraform/IaC environments
Own problems across cloud, networking, security/IAM, databases and reliability
Apply AI/agentic automation to infrastructure, troubleshooting and operations
