Job summary

TeamViewer is seeking a seasoned software architect to own the architecture of its AI platform across TeamViewer ONE. You will define scalable patterns for agent orchestration, tool integration, context management, memory, and trust boundaries.

You will establish observability and quality metrics, drive architecture reviews, mentor engineers, and partner with Security to implement safeguards, multi-tenancy, and prompt-based attack protection while controlling licensing and costs.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience designing and delivering complex, large-scale systems.
• Deep expertise in AI and agent-based architectures; tool-using agents and context engineering.
• Hands-on development in Python and TypeScript; familiarity with Java, Kotlin, React, C++, C#.
• Experience bringing AI-powered products into enterprise production with security and multi-tenancy.
• Strong understanding of software architecture and scalable design patterns.
• Ability to communicate complex concepts to technical and business stakeholders.
• Experience with licensing, open-source compliance, and risk management for AI.
• Bachelor's or Master's in CS / Software Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Own the architecture of the AI platform across TeamViewer ONE.
• Define platform architecture for agent orchestration, tool integration, context management, memory, and trust boundaries.
• Establish observability, quality metrics, and production tracing standards.
• Drive decisions on model selection, routing, vendor dependencies, and cost optimization.
• Partner with Security to design AI safeguards including permission controls and tenant isolation.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and hands-on guidance to engineering teams.
• Lead architecture reviews and maintain clear documentation.
• Identify and mitigate risks around scalability, reliability, model behavior, licensing, and compliance.
