TeamViewer seeks an experienced Software Architect to define the endpoint platform architecture across Windows services and cloud systems. You will lead automation and AI-driven actions on managed devices, establish standards, and mentor platform engineering teams globally.

Qualifications

7+ years of software engineering experience building applications in C++ or .NET.
Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, Cassandra, or ScyllaDB.
Deep understanding of software architecture, distributed systems, high-availability platforms, microservices, and containerized environments.
Experience designing systems that perform automated or AI-driven actions on managed endpoints, including security controls and auditing requirements.
Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development and a clear understanding of where AI-generated code is appropriate in production environments.
Experience building and operating solutions in Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud, including infrastructure automation.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Responsibilities

Define the architecture for our endpoint platform, Windows services, and the cloud systems that support them.
Design how automation and AI-powered actions operate on customer devices, including permissions, safeguards, rollback mechanisms, and auditability.
Establish architectural standards, engineering best practices, and guidelines for the use of AI-generated code in production systems.
Evaluate technical solutions, conduct proofs of concept, and recommend scalable, secure design approaches.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to platform engineering teams globally
Drive architectural decision-making and maintain clear documentation of designs, standards, and key decisions.
Stay current on emerging technologies, cloud platforms, and AI tooling, and identify opportunities to improve our systems and practices.
Own the non-functional architecture of the platform, ensuring reliability, performance, security, scalability, and cost efficiency.
