Job summary

TeamViewer, a leading Digital Workplace platform, seeks an experienced AI/Agentic engineer in Austin, TX. You will build and operate agentic capabilities, focusing on retrieval, tool usage, memory, and multi-step task execution, delivering secure, scalable AI-enabled features.

You will define quality criteria, create evaluation datasets, optimize prompts and contexts, and collaborate with product, security, and platform teams to ship reliable software.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of industry experience with Python and production systems.
• Hands-on experience building model-based agentic systems in production.
• Ability to define quality criteria and evaluation frameworks.
• Data-driven approach to prompt and context engineering.
• Understanding of AI model landscape and trade-offs in cost/latency.
• Knowledge of tool protocols and security implications.
• Experience with AI coding agents and accountable practices.
• Awareness of AI failure modes and mitigation strategies.

Responsibilities

• Build agentic capabilities for TeamViewer Tia and Agentic Ecosystem.
• Define evaluation discipline and datasets to guide releases.
• Engineer model context via retrieval, ranking, and prompt assembly.
• Improve quality through prompts, tool design, and orchestration patterns.
• Manage production latency, cost, and fallback behavior.
• Collaborate with product management, security, and platform teams.
• Apply fine-tuning or specialized models where supported.
• Maintain team context, tooling, and delivery patterns.
