EY is seeking a leader to shape and govern a next-generation AI platform across cloud, hybrid, and edge environments. You will own the platform vision, drive a product-like approach, and ensure secure, scalable model access with robust observability and release controls.

You’ll guide strategic build-versus-buy decisions, mentor engineers, and collaborate with security, risk, and product partners to deliver durable, reusable production patterns while traveling up to 50% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
• 9–12+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience designing and operating cloud, infrastructure, SRE, or platform capabilities with production AI workloads.
• History building a shared platform adopted by multiple product teams with measurable improvements.
• Deep experience in at least one major cloud and portable patterns for hybrid/multi-cloud constraints.
• Hands-on engineering in orchestration, networking, identity, infrastructure as code, delivery automation, APIs, and production observability.
• Experience operating model-serving and AI lifecycle capabilities, including release controls, evaluation, capacity, service objectives, and incident learning.
• Ability to make build-versus-buy decisions and explain their operational, commercial, and technical consequences.
• Experience leading complex programs and mentoring to raise engineering capability.
• Travel and on-site up to 50%, hybrid office requirement.

Responsabilités

• Set the platform direction: own the AI platform vision, architecture, roadmap, and non-functional standards across cloud, hybrid, and edge environments.
• Run the platform as a product: define service tiers, golden paths, and measure adoption and time to value.
• Enable portable model access: design gateways and stable contracts for model choice, routing, resilience, and controlled experiments.
• Architect elastic foundations: shape compute, storage, and network for AI workloads balancing performance, region constraints, resilience, and cost.
• Automate the path to production: create repeatable delivery patterns with progressive release, rollback, and evidence.
• Define trusted agent runtimes: secure execution patterns for tools, identities, approvals, isolation, recovery, and replay.
• Engineer for reliability: set service objectives, observability standards, recovery patterns, and resilience exercises.
• Make economics visible: connect usage and quality signals to improve unit economics without harming outcomes.
• Guide strategic choices: lead build-versus-buy and portability decisions with cross-functional partners.
• Build capability: mentor platform engineers and SREs, foster architecture practices, and turn emerging tech into reusable patterns.
