EY seeks a senior platform chief to shape the next generation of AI services. You will own the AI platform vision, define reference architecture, and drive non-functional standards across cloud, hybrid, and edge environments. The role emphasizes production-ready patterns, portability, and measurable value for diverse product teams.

You will mentor engineers, balance performance and cost, and partner with security, risk, and finance to align strategic choices. Travel up to 50% is required.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
• 9-12+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience designing and operating cloud, infrastructure, SRE, or platform capabilities with production AI workloads.
• Track record building a shared platform adopted by multiple product teams.
• Deep experience in at least one major cloud and portable hybrid/multi-cloud patterns.
• Hands-on engineering in orchestration, networking, identity, IaC, delivery automation, APIs, and observability.
• Experience operating model-serving and AI lifecycle capabilities.
• Ability to make build-versus-buy decisions and explain consequences.
• Cross-functional leadership mentoring and guiding teams.
• Travel and on-site up to 50%.

• Set the platform direction. Own the AI platform vision, reference architecture, roadmap, and non-functional standards across cloud, hybrid, and edge environments.
• Run the platform as a product. Define service tiers, prioritize the roadmap, and measure adoption and time to value.
• Enable portable model access. Design gateways and stable contracts for model choice and routing.
• Architect elastic foundations. Shape compute, storage, and network needs for AI workloads.
• Automate the path to production. Create repeatable delivery patterns with progressive release and evidence.
• Define trusted agent runtimes. Establish secure execution patterns for tools, identities, approvals, isolation, recovery.
• Engineer for reliability. Set SLOs, observability standards, recovery patterns, and resilience exercises.
• Make economics visible. Connect usage, performance, and quality signals to improve unit economics.
• Guide strategic choices. Lead build-versus-buy and portability decisions with cross-functional partners.
• Build capability. Mentor engineers and SREs to turn emerging tech into reusable production patterns.
