Job summary

EY is seeking an experienced AI Platform Leader to shape the future of our AI services. You will define the platform direction, ensure portable model access, and architect elastic foundations across cloud and edge environments.

The role emphasizes software engineering, observability, and strong stakeholder collaboration. The ideal candidate has extensive cloud experience, hands-on engineering depth, and a proven track record building shared platforms adopted by multiple product teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field of study.
9-12+ years of relevant experience.
Experience designing and operating cloud, infrastructure, SRE, or platform capabilities, including production AI workloads.
Proven record of building a shared platform adopted by multiple product teams with measurable improvements.
Deep experience in at least one major cloud and portable patterns for hybrid or multi-cloud constraints.
Hands-on depth in orchestration, networking, identity, IaC, delivery automation, APIs, and production observability.
Experience operating model-serving and AI lifecycle capabilities, including release controls, evaluation, capacity, service objectives, and incident learning.
Ability to make build-versus-buy decisions with clear operational and financial consequences.
Experience leading complex programs and mentoring to raise engineering capability.
Role requires up to 50% travel and optional hybrid office attendance.

Responsibilities

Set the platform direction, including AI platform vision and reference architecture across cloud and edge environments.
Run the platform as a product with defined service tiers and adoption metrics.
Enable portable model access with gateways and stable contracts for policy-aware routing.
Architect elastic foundations for compute, storage, and network for AI workloads, balancing cost and resilience.
Automate the path to production with repeatable delivery patterns and progressive release with evidence.
Define trusted agent runtimes for secure execution patterns and controlled agent behavior.
Engineer for reliability by setting service objectives and observability standards.
Make economics visible by tying usage to unit economics without harming outcomes.
Guide strategic build-vs-buy and portability decisions with cross-functional partners.
Build capability by mentoring engineers and strengthening architecture practices.
