Job summary

MACHINE LEARNING TECHNOLOGIES LLC in Edina, MN invites an Associate Principal AI Architect to lead the technical design for AI Optimization & Delivery. This role acts as the primary design authority, aligning with Enterprise Architecture and delivery pods to scale AI-powered solutions.

You will design blueprints for agentic components, define sandbox-to-production criteria, and build the foundation for a managed AI Internal Developer Platform (IDP).

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise software architecture, platform architecture, AI/ML systems, or enterprise delivery.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience delivering LLM orchestration and agentic systems in production.
• Experience designing AI/ML platform infrastructure, including cloud integration, deployment pipelines, observability and runtime monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Establish architectural standards for LLM-enabled workflows and multi-agent orchestration.
• Define hybrid patterns balancing LLM-based judgment with deterministic code for compliance-sensitive operations.
• Architect platform component layer, including shared libraries, templates, and RAG pipelines.
• Lead evaluations of AI technologies and document architectural rationale for vendor-agnostic decisions.
• Ensure data privacy and security boundaries tailored to PHI/PII in healthcare contexts.
