Job summary

Council Capital is seeking a senior architect to guide architectural decisions across engineering and data science, with a focus on AI-augmented capabilities that improve audit efficiency and decision support. You will establish standards, govern data and security, and collaborate with product, compliance, and sales to drive scalable AI initiatives.

With 10+ years of SaaS architecture experience, you will shape multi-tenant cloud platforms on AWS/Azure, mentor engineers, and ensure solutions

Qualifications

10+ years architecting SaaS products with cloud-native tech.
Extensive AWS and/or Azure design experience.
Proven track record of integrating and building AI into platforms.
Experience with multi-tenant SaaS architectures.
Ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Provide architectural guidance across engineering to ensure clean integration and evolvability.
Lead design and delivery of AI-augmented capabilities for auditors and operations.
Define API contracts, data flows, and security boundaries for platform.
Develop architecture diagrams and reusable software assets for scale.
Define AI data governance policies with compliance and security teams.
Evaluate tooling and vendors for capability, cost, and complexity.
Collaborate with sales and operations to identify AI use cases and improvements.
