Informa TechTarget is seeking a Principal AI Platform Architect to define and build the next generation of our AI platform and cloud-native ecosystem. This senior role leads scalable, secure platforms enabling AI-powered products and automated workflows.

The ideal candidate will design cloud-native AI platforms, governance standards, and API-first patterns, partnering with product leadership and engineering teams to drive architectural direction and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 10+ years designing and delivering enterprise software platforms.
• Strong GCP expertise with Vertex AI.
• AI platform experience including agentic frameworks, LLMs, and orchestration.
• Evaluation loops in production for monitoring and tuning AI systems.
• Event-driven architecture and distributed systems with microservices & APIs.
• Platform security and governance knowledge, including responsible AI.
• Python proficiency, plus Kubernetes, Docker and cloud-native tools.
• Exceptional communication skills to influence technical direction across teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and build a scalable AI platform supporting LLMs, agentic workflows, and federated development across multiple teams.
• Establish architectural standards for AI governance, security, evaluation strategies, and operational excellence.
• Architect cloud-native solutions on Google Cloud Platform for enterprise-scale workloads.
• Define platform patterns for microservices, event-driven architectures, and API-first design.
• Build CI/CD pipelines that deploy to the cloud while interfacing with legacy systems.
• Provide architecture guidance and governance across engineering teams through reviews and standards.
• Balance strategic platform vision with hands-on implementation to earn respect from engineering teams.
• Enable teams to add new components, agents, and functionalities within the platform.
