Job summary

EY is seeking a senior platform leader to shape the AI platform vision across cloud and hybrid environments. You will own reference architecture, define golden paths, and align stakeholders on practical trade-offs to deliver durable, scalable AI capabilities.

This high-impact role requires systems thinking, hands-on engineering, and a track record of building a shared platform adopted by multiple product teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Substantial cloud, infrastructure, SRE, or platform experience with production AI workloads.
• Experience delivering a shared platform used by multiple product teams with measurable impact.
• Deep cloud architecture experience and portable pattern design for hybrid/multi-cloud environments.
• Hands-on depth in orchestration, networking, identity, IaC, delivery automation, APIs, observability.
• Experience operating model-serving and AI lifecycle capabilities, including release controls and incident learning.
• Ability to make build-versus-buy decisions and explain consequences.
• Experience leading complex programs and mentoring engineers.

Responsibilities

• Set the platform direction and AI platform vision across cloud and edge environments.
• Run the platform as a product: define service tiers, roadmaps, and adoption metrics.
• Design gateways and contracts to support model choice and controlled experimentation.
• Shape compute, storage, and network foundations for AI workloads.
• Automate delivery with progressive release, rollback, and evidence built into the process.
• Define secure agent runtimes and execution patterns for tools and identities.
• Establish observability and resilience patterns for platform health.
• Help teams improve unit economics without compromising reliability or outcomes.
• Lead build-versus-buy and portability decisions with cross-functional partners.
• Mentor platform engineers and SREs to turn emerging tech into reusable patterns.
