EY is building Challenger, a program focused on next-generation AI services, where your platform architecture work will directly impact production systems. You’ll translate business needs into scalable, observable, and cost-aware infrastructure across cloud, hybrid, and edge environments.

You’ll mentor engineers, shape adoption-focused roadmaps, and partner with product, security, risk, and finance to balance speed with reliability. This role blends hands-on coding with strategic influence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field of study.
• 9-12+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience designing and operating cloud, infrastructure, SRE, or platform capabilities with production AI workloads.
• Record of building a shared platform adopted by multiple product teams with measurable improvements.
• Deep experience in at least one major cloud with portable hybrid/multi-cloud patterns.
• Hands-on engineering: orchestration, networking, IaC, delivery automation, APIs, observability.
• Experience operating model-serving and AI lifecycle capabilities including release controls and capacity planning.
• Ability to make build-versus-buy decisions with operational, commercial, technical implications.
• Cross-functional leadership and mentoring of engineers.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% and work in a hybrid office setting.

Responsabilités

• Set the platform direction: AI platform vision, reference architecture, roadmap, and non-functional standards.
• Run the platform as a product: define service tiers, adoption metrics, and time-to-value.
• Enable portable model access with policy-aware routing and stable contracts.
• Architect elastic foundations for compute, storage, and network for AI workloads.
• Automate the path to production with repeatable delivery patterns and progressive release.
• Define trusted agent runtimes with secure execution and auditability.
• Engineer for reliability with service objectives and observability standards.
• Make economics visible by connecting usage, performance, and quality signals.
• Guide strategic build-versus-buy and portability decisions with partners.
• Build capability by mentoring engineers and strengthening architecture practices.
