Job summary

DriveNets is seeking a Principal Technologist to lead technical architecture in AI networking and data center infrastructure. You will interact with hyperscalers and enterprises to translate business challenges into scalable, differentiated solutions, and guide multi-million-dollar engagements from discovery to closure.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in data center networking architecture and design, with AI/HPC or hyperscale focus.
• Extensive hands-on depth in large-scale switching and routing, including BGP, EVPN/VXLAN, QoS.
• Proven track record in senior pre-sales or solutions architecture influencing large deals.
• Experience with virtualization at the x86 level and network I/O offloading.
• Strong communication skills and ability to present to VP/C-level stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical architecture for high-value opportunities across AI/HPC data center networks.
• Lead solution architecture and design in pre-sales cycles, with Sales teams.
• Define POC design, benchmarks, and communicate results to win confidence.
• Engage with engineering leaders and C-level stakeholders to build lasting relationships.
• Publish architecture playbooks and best practices for the Solutions community.
• Mentor Solutions Architects and Engineers and represent DriveNets externally.
