Job summary

DriveNets Ltd. is seeking a Principal Technologist to lead complex AI networking and data center infrastructure opportunities in a remote US role with travel to customers.

You will own the technical architecture, collaborate with Sales and Solutions Architects, and guide proofs-of-concept and customer engagements with C-level stakeholders. You will influence product requirements, publish reference designs, and mentor senior engineers while shaping DriveNets' technical go-to-market in AI

Qualifications

• 12+ years in data center networking architecture and design.
• Extensive hands-on depth in large-scale switching and routing: BGP, EVPN/VXLAN, QoS, PFC/ECN.
• Experience with virtualization at the x86 level: DPDK, SR-IOV, SmartNICs/DPUs.
• Proven track record in senior pre-sales, solutions architecture or system architecture roles.
• Scripting and automation (Python, APIs, JSON) in network operations and solution integration.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical architecture for DriveNets' most complex and high-value opportunities in AI/HPC GPU fabrics and data center infrastructure.
• Partner with Sales and Solutions Architects from early discovery through deal closure to position DriveNets as the preferred technical choice.
• Lead proof-of-concept design and execution with defined success criteria and benchmarking plans.
• Engage with engineering leads, network architects, and C-level stakeholders at hyperscalers and enterprises.
• Capture field insights and translate them into concrete product requirements for PM and Engineering.
• Publish architecture playbooks, reference designs, and best practices across the community.
• Lead and mentor Solutions Architects and Solutions Engineers to raise technical standards.
• Represent DriveNets at industry events and contribute white papers and technical blogs.
