Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Sr. Network Engineer to design and operate mission-critical networks across data centers and vehicle fleets. You will drive AI-native network operations, automate provisioning and upgrades, and troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues.

The role focuses on designing scalable architectures, implementing automation, and maintaining high-performance, secure networks to support internal operations and future Mars exploration initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience designing, operating & automating critical networks.
• Experience with data center networks and AI-native operations.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design & deploy highly redundant data centers for mission critical operations.
• Lead end to end automation of the network lifecycle: provisioning, configuration management, validation, monitoring.
• Create and maintain AI-driven network operations: design AI and ML tools to monitor network health, detect anomalies, and pro-actively detect anomalous hardware behavior.
• Automate rapid provisioning & upgrades of network devices & servers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve networking hardware & software problems.
• Optimize performance across hardware, topologies, protocols and software.
