Job summary

EY proudly seeks senior engineers for the Advanced Forward Engineering team. You will design, build, and deliver AI‑native systems embedded with our strategic clients in regulated sectors, owning end-to-end delivery with hands-on execution and a focus on auditable, trusted production solutions.

You will collaborate with platform, architecture, and security teams to ensure compliant, reliable delivery while shaping innovative AI-enabled workflows and integrations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years delivering complex software systems in enterprise or regulated environments.
• Experience in customer-facing or consulting engineering roles.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying distributed systems, APIs, integrations, or data-intensive applications.
• Practical experience with modern AI application stacks (e.g., LLM-backed systems, agentic workflows, orchestration frameworks).
• Proven track record owning delivery in real-world conditions.
• Experience writing production-grade code under compliance, performance, and reliability constraints.
• Ability to work with engineering, architecture, security, and governance teams.

Responsibilities

• Embed directly with client teams to frame problems, identify opportunities, and define delivery paths under regulatory constraints.
• Own end-to-end delivery outcomes from shaping through deployment and sustainment.
• Implement and manage AI-enabled workflows, agentic systems, and orchestration using platform capabilities.
• Write and review production-quality code aligned with enterprise delivery standards.
• Balance functionality, safety, cost, and timelines, explaining tradeoffs to stakeholders.
• Ensure solutions comply with security, AI integrity, and FinOps constraints with control authorities.
• Capture field learnings and contribute to platform evolution.
• Collaborate with integration, platform, and architecture teams to enable repeatable delivery.
