Job summary

EY is seeking senior engineers to join the Advanced Forward Engineering (AFE) team in the Office of the CTO. You will embed with client teams, own end-to-end delivery, and build AI-enabled, auditable production systems in highly regulated environments.

The role blends hands-on coding with solution shaping, mentoring, and collaboration across security, governance, and platform teams to deliver trusted outcomes for clients.

Qualifications

• 5+ years delivering complex software in enterprise or regulated environments.
• Hands-on experience with distributed systems, APIs, integrations or data-intensive apps.
• Experience with modern AI stacks (LLMs, agentic workflows, orchestration).

Responsibilities

• Embed with client teams to frame problems and define delivery paths.
• Own end-to-end delivery from shaping to sustainment.
• Implement AI-enabled workflows and orchestrations using platform templates.
• Write production-quality code (LangGraph, Python) per standards.
• Balance functionality, safety, cost, and timeline; explain decisions.
• Ensure security, AI integrity, FinOps compliance; seek safe-to-ship approval.
• Capture field learnings and feedback to improve platform.
• Collaborate with integration, platform, and architecture teams to reduce rework.
