Job summary

Life360 is hiring an AI-Native Engineer on the Verticals team focused on aging in place. You’ll design and build end-to-end features across backend services and mobile apps, adopting AI-native workflows and agentic tooling to ship at scale.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building and operating high-quality consumer-scale services.
• 1+ years of hands-on experience prompting, evaluating, and building with LLMs.
• Full-stack proficiency spanning backend services and mobile client development (iOS and/or Android).
• Deep experience with agentic workflows, prompt engineering, context window management, and MCP/function calling.
• A track record of using AI tooling to multiply your own output in production.
• Bachelor's Degree in a Technical field or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Ship end-to-end features across the stack—from backend services to mobile surfaces used by members.
• Work with AI tooling as a first-class collaborator to design specs, generate results, and review outputs.
• Define and codify AI-Native engineering practices for the Verticals team and establish reusable playbooks.
