Job summary

NCS, a leading AI tech services company, invites applications for a Senior / AI Native Builder within AI Central. You will help build, productise, and deploy AI-powered products, MVPs, and reusable assets for regulated sectors in live client contexts across Asia Pacific.

You will work with senior leaders, translating ambiguous challenges into scalable solutions, leveraging AI tooling, model orchestration, and automation to deliver real client outcomes with speed, quality, and maintainability.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent practical experience is also valued
• Demonstrated experience delivering AI, machine learning, or generative AI solutions in real-world settings
• Strong understanding of modern AI tooling, including LLM application patterns, orchestration frameworks, automation platforms, evaluation approaches, and model limitations
• Ability to balance experimentation with sound engineering discipline, including security, reliability, and maintainability
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical execution and to advise at the executive level
• Proven ability to work independently, navigate ambiguity, and deliver outcomes at pace

Responsibilities

• Lead the journey from client problem statement to working prototype, MVP, or deployable solution
• Translate ambiguous business challenges into clear product hypotheses, technical approaches, and execution plans
• Build and ship AI-enabled solutions using the right combination of software engineering, model orchestration, automation, and design tools
• Make sound trade-offs across speed, quality, security, scalability, and business value
• Advise client technology and business leaders on AI investment priorities, architecture decisions, and build-versus-buy choices — drawing on NCS’s cross-sector experience and AIC’s capability base
• Drive fast experiments and iterative delivery cycles to validate desirability, feasibility, and value
• Contribute reusable patterns, playbooks, and working practices that help NCS scale AI-native delivery across sectors and geographies
• Stay current with emerging AI tools, methods, and frameworks, and apply them where they create measurable advantage
• You are energised by ambiguity and know how to create clarity through action
• You are comfortable defining the scope, shaping the approach, and driving execution with limited hand-holding
• You combine product instinct, engineering depth, and strong judgement
• You work well with senior stakeholders and can challenge assumptions constructively
• You use AI fluently in your day-to-day workflow as a practical multiplier across design, code, research, and delivery
