Job summary

AT&T is seeking an AI-Native Software Engineer, Senior who combines strong software engineering fundamentals with expertise in AI-enabled application development, agentic workflows, and enterprise system integration.

You will build production-grade applications, APIs, and intelligent workflow automations, and partner with business and technical stakeholders in a 2-in-a-box model to translate needs into scalable, secure software solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
5+ years of professional software engineering delivering production-grade applications.
Experience building scalable backend services and RESTful APIs with Python frameworks (FastAPI/Flask/Django).
Experience deploying applications in cloud/enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and deploy AI-enabled applications and agentic workflows.
Develop scalable backend services and APIs using Python frameworks (FastAPI/Flask/Django).
Integrate AI solutions with enterprise systems and databases.
Implement CI/CD, security controls, and observability for integrations.
