Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Senior Software Engineer II, AI Native, to own backend services powering a large-scale digital advertising platform. This remote-first role focuses on high-throughput, low-latency systems, with end-to-end ownership from design to deployment and ongoing optimization.

Ideal candidates have 5–8 years of backend experience in Java, cloud-native environments (AWS), and familiarity with AdTech concepts including real-time bidding and partner integrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 5–8 years of backend software engineering experience with Java.
• Experience building high-throughput, low-latency distributed systems in production.

Responsibilities

• Build high-throughput, low-latency backend services for a large-scale platform.
• Own features end-to-end from design to deployment and optimization.
• Develop RTB and auction capabilities with partner integrations.
• Collaborate with staff engineers and architects on platform design.
• Mentor engineers and establish coding quality standards.
• Integrate AI into engineering workflows and evaluate tools.
