Job summary

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer to lead and contribute to the AI Stack SDK Software team on Snapdragon platforms.

You will drive analysis, adaptation, and optimization of modern AI models, collaborating across ML Research, hardware and software teams, and product groups to deliver production-quality model-enablement solutions. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in CS/Engineering or related field with several years of software/AI experience.
• Strong knowledge of modern AI model architectures (transformers, LLMs, vision & multimodal models).
• Experience with Python and C/C++ for production-quality software.
• Experience with PyTorch and model representations (ONNX).
• Experience leading and mentoring small teams, communicating strategy, and driving end-to-end delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead bring-up and enablement of LLM/LVM/VLM/multimodal models on Snapdragon platforms.
• Collaborate with AI Research to understand model internals and performance bottlenecks.
• Analyze graphs and identify gaps against Qualcomm AI accelerator backends.
• Architect reusable model-enablement solutions spanning model, quantization, compiler, and runtime.
• Define scalable methods for graph transformations, quantization recipes, and deployment workflows.
• Mentor engineers and drive multiple initiatives from investigation to production delivery.
• Lead architecture and design reviews, code reviews, and performance/accuracy assessments.
