Job summary

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer to lead architecture and implementation for Snapdragon AI software, enabling state-of-the-art AI models. You will work on model adaptation, quantization, graph optimizations, and runtime interfaces, partnering with ML Research and hardware teams.

You will guide a small team, own delivery across multiple model-enablement initiatives, and contribute as an individual contributor on critical paths.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 6+ years in software/ hardware related work.
• Master's degree with 5+ years, or PhD with 4+ years relevant experience.
• Experience in AI/ML software design, model optimization, or compiler tech.

Responsibilities

• Lead bring-up and enablement of LLM/LVM/VLM/multimodal models on Snapdragon.
• Analyze graphs, identify gaps against Qualcomm backends, and optimize performance.
• Architect reusable model-enablement solutions across stack components.
• Define scalable pipelines, quantization recipes, and execution workflows.
• Mentor engineers and drive multiple initiatives end-to-end.
