Job summary

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in the AISW team to lead AI software features on Snapdragon platforms.

You will drive design and development of the Qualcomm AI Stack, including QAIRT and Genie, and ensure efficient execution of DNNs, LLMs, and modern AI architectures for mobile devices. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in C/C++ software development.
• Experience developing software in Linux environments.
• Solid grounding in data structures, algorithms, software design principles, debugging, and testing.
• Strong verbal and written communication across teams and with customer-facing stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of software for Qualcomm AI Stack SDKs (QAIRT, Genie).
• Design and implement core AI runtime framework components for mobile inference.
• Collaborate with OEM engagement PoCs for launches and feature delivery.
• Prioritize issues impacting customer experience and ensure high-quality fixes.
• Improve AI tools, SDKs, documentation, and processes for better usability.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure end-to-end readiness for launches.
• Validate, analyze, and optimize software performance and robustness on mobile platforms.
• Debug complex system issues and drive root-cause fixes across software-hardware boundaries.
• Lead feature development and set technical direction for AI deployment on Qualcomm platforms.
• Participate in design and code reviews to maintain high standards.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of technical excellence.
