Job summary

Blue Cross NC is seeking a Senior AI/ML Scientist to identify, research, and develop GenAI solutions that turn data into sound business decisions. You will combine statistics, programming, and data science to build self-learning applications and integrate AI into real-world systems for impact.

You will own end-to-end ML/DL/GenAI delivery, design production AI, and apply prescriptive analytics to address business problems while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree in a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in AI/ML or data science.
• In lieu of degree, 7+ years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery of large and/or complex ML, DL, and GenAI systems with self-learning capabilities.
• Design, implement, and evaluate AI systems for production environments.
• Apply prescriptive analytics techniques to business problems.
• Lead development and testing of ML algorithms and experiments.
• Stay updated with AI advances and adapt methods to business needs.
• Benchmark against existing methods and identify improvements.
