Job summary

The Walt Disney Company is seeking a Senior Manager, AI & ML to lead the new AI framework for Disney Financial Insights (D-Fi). The role is based in Orlando, FL and will build and guide a global engineering team to deliver an AI-powered finance data experience.

You will own end-to-end technical direction, oversee the AI/LLM roadmap, enforce governance by design, and partner with finance stakeholders to translate business needs into technical roadmaps while staying hands-on with implementation

Qualifications

10+ years of software and/or ML engineering leadership experience with end-to-end technical direction.
Production experience shipping LLM/AI apps; not just prototypes.
Experience with LLM orchestration and vector stores at scale.
Strong data modeling with governed data layers.

Responsibilities

Own architectural direction for AI/ML and data layers underpinning D-Fi.
Serve as stakeholder-facing technical lead translating needs into a roadmap.
Own the AI/LLM roadmap and ensure governance and security by design.
Set engineering quality standards including code reviews, testing, and release management.
Decide build vs. integrate decisions for ERP/EPM and enterprise APIs.
