Job summary

United Network for Organ Sharing is seeking a Senior AI/ML Engineer to design and operate AI infrastructure across the organization. This role focuses on production-grade Azure workloads, agentic development patterns, and cost-aware management while safeguarding PHI.

You will enable a range of AI workflows from traditional ML to generative AI and autonomous agents, with strong emphasis on security, monitoring, and scalable delivery within healthcare and logistics domains.

Qualifications

• 6+ years building and running production systems.
• 3+ years owning cloud infrastructure as code.
• Experience with HIPAA/HITRUST/SOC 2/FedRAMP or similar controls.
• Hands-on provisioning of AI workloads and model serving endpoints.
• Strong Python, containers, and Kubernetes experience.

Responsibilities

• Provision AI infrastructure on Azure as code with model deployments.
• Stand up open-weight/frontier models on UNOS infra with PHI controls.
• Define and publish patterns for agentic development and templates.
• Integrate AI into CI/CD for PR reviews, tests, and security findings.
• Build and ship UNOS agents in UNOS One products and internal ops.
