EY is seeking a Manager in Model Engineering to lead end-to-end AI/ML initiatives, collaborating with clients and cross‑functional teams to deliver scalable AI solutions across data sources and platforms.

You will guide teams through design, development, deployment, and ongoing optimization, with a focus on responsible AI practices and measurable business value. A strong blend of technical depth and client-facing skills is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (4‑year degree).
• 6–10 years of AI/Data Science/ML experience.
• 2–4 years of experience managing technical teams.
• Strong Python skills.
• Ability to lead and communicate with diverse, hybrid/global teams.
• Experience designing and maintaining production AI/ML solutions on a major cloud platform.
• Proficiency with foundation models, generative AI, and agentic AI frameworks (e.g., OpenAI, DALL·E, LangChain, RAG).
• Experience with ML packages like scikit‑learn and PyTorch.
• Experience with NLP and deep learning.
• Extensive experience in DevOps tools and Agile methodologies (Jira).
• Experience with MLOps, LLMOps, AgentOps, data ingestion/transformation/evaluation.
• Model retraining and feedback loop methodologies.
• Observability, monitoring and reporting for AI solutions.
• Data structures, modeling, software engineering, and Responsible AI practices.
• Strong math/ statistics background; data manipulation (SQL, Pandas, Spark); deep learning techniques.
• Excellent communication; willing to travel for client engagements.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI workstreams from design to deployment and optimization.
• Drive process improvements through research and analysis.
• Manage multidisciplinary teams delivering complex AI initiatives with quality and responsible deployment.
• Engage with clients and lead workstreams from planning to closure.
• Identify opportunities for additional services and manage engagement economics.
